1. My name is Farid Kefel and I am joining from Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. A tiny country on the west coast of Africa and bordering three other Mano river union states including Guinee, Liberia and Ivory Coast.
2. I am presently working for Epik International which is an international Turkish engineering company and we are presently constructing the United States Marine Base project in Freetown at the U.S Embassy and I am Head of operations.
3. My goals for this course is to improve on my professional skills and satisfactorily be able to deliver in situations where the need may arise. This course is completely in line with my job criteria and functions as a supervisor.

My Name is Swaliho F. Kamara and I will be joining the course from Monrovia, Liberia. Currently, I work with Development Alternative Initiative (DAI Inc.) in Liberia with on the USAID Liberia Accountability and Voice Initiative (LAVI) Activity. This program is funded under USAID Country Development Cooperation Strategy for Liberia under Democracy, Rights and Governance. I serve as Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist. As an acting MEL Director, I am responsible for the full implementation of Objective 4 of the LAVI Activity: Learning and Methodologies Shared and Applied by Other Development actors. This including both internal and external program Monitoring, Evaluation and learning. Moreover, I also serve as focal point for internal organizational Knowledge Management (KM) and supervise 14 Field Based Monitoring Consultant including 1 MEL intern and 1 MEL Officer.

My goal for enrolling into this course is to maximize my existing knowledge in Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and also exchange my experience with other similar actors. Knowledge gain from this course will be replicated in my daily work at the same time sharing new approach with other colleagues at the local level in Liberia. Data either from facility , from difference designation as to reconcile with what is available and present fro easy workflow.
Monitoring and evaluation also help in the evaluation of Percentage of illness or care to explain how it has done good or bad to country or community so as to have a good preventive measures and a good result.

My goals for this course are to be able to better integrate the M&E system in project planning and apply the most appropriate M&E tools into my projects to continuously measure project progress against objectives. Yes i have a little experience . I took part in a project of food distribution in IDP camps in 7 local governments in my state where i took real stocks of deliverables, food items, clothes and made sure it got to the 250,000 IDPs they were meant for.

My name is Sara Swett and I am joining from a small non-profit in Arusha, Tanzania called The Small Things. The Small Things strives to keep vulnerable and orphaned children in the Meru District of Tanzania in their families by creating sustainable, participatory and evolving care plans for their future. For those families most at-risk, we provide loving residential care in an effort to further strengthen the community’s long-term capacity.

My goals are to learn how to effectively develop and implement a successful M&E system into all of our work within the organization in order to reach our goals of truly partnering with the surrounding communities.

I currently work for a church as the Communications Coordinator, which has me involved in many different areas. I've been working on the overall church brand across various platforms (web, social, & more) as well as focusing on marketing and promotions, but I am now diving in to the proposal writing and program planning side of things.

I am hoping to learn a bit more about the project development and proposal process. I am taking a workshop on proposals in July. The church works with a number of organizations and missionaries across the world, so I would like to be able to better prepare myself to assist them in their project goals.

Hi everyone! I'm Jordan Arban from the Philippines. I currently work as a customer service advisor in one of the call centers here in the Philippines. My goals are to nish this course and be certified and to be able to acquire additional skills that I may be able to use at work. No, i do not have experience to this course however at the organization that i am working at we do basic monitoring and evaluation, i assess and monitor organizations, so every quarter the organizations send their quarterly reports then we count how many clients that have assisted, how many falls under youth, how many are elderly and disabled, if they have not reached their monthly or quarterly target, we look at their reasons for deviation and evaluate on how they can do better going forward.

My name is Lucia Conti. At the moment I am joining the course from Brussels, but in a couple of weeks I will go back to Ecuador. I work for AVSI Foundation, an Italian ONG and I am currently in charge for developing new projects an initiatives in Ecuador. In the past I was for five years the EU focal point for AVSI, based in Brussels. My goals for the course is to improve my knowledge and skills in monitoring and evaluation, since within my organization I would like to focus on measuring results and impact. I am interested in joining a team, in order to share experiences and insights. My previous experiences in monitoring and evaluation derived from my work as external consultant in Sierra Leone where I carried out an ex post evaluation of a project on youth employment funded by the World Bank. I have also been program manager in Guatemala where I applied qualitative methods and tools for measuring the satisfactions and perceptions of the beneficiaries towards the actions. In Brussels I supported CONCORD, a network of 2.600 ONGs to design the methodology for monitoring the relations between EUDs and CSOs in the countries.
