Secondly it is easy to collect information, and depending on the project, information can be collected in different ways for example through questionnaires, interviews, focus group and document review. The data collected is used for both monitoring and evaluation. Thirdly through monitoring, the team is able to notice a problem very fast and provide a suitable solution. the solutions provided can be both long term or short term. most importantly the team is bale to evaluate if the changes in outcome observed area directly linked to the project. Additionally, when writing a report to the donors they are able to state clearly the problems encountered and how they overcome them and what should be done to avoid the problem during the next project.

From my point of view, M&E are important throughout the life of the project because Monitoring permits to know if activities go straigh-out to the goals defined at the conceptual phase.
