Un projet se présente comme équipe des personnes rassemblées pour plusieurs années et qui vont devoir travailler en bonne harmonie pour atteindre les objectifs assignés

A project presents itself as a team of people gathered for several years and who will have to work in good harmony to achieve the assigned objectives
(According to Isabelle DROY, the project is a one-off invention on a very limited aspect (village or region) for our part, it is a set of activities that will consume the resources necessary to carry out activities of creation of an agricultural cooperative and supervision of households in agriculture and these annexes to WORA to increase agricultural production and fight against food insecurity in the areas.

GOOD has definitely has decent matrices that can be used to pursue "M&E". If they want to go further, GOOD can track the growth of each saving account within a certain time frame. In contrast, MEH can start their "accounting" process that can be a useful tool to start its M&E process either by measuring how many loans it gives out or measuring how many businesses it help to get started. It can also be helpful if MEH has a criteria for the microfinancing to better measure impact.

At the end of every project one can Create a fantastic M&E plan, Measure the progress of every field office, plan to collect information, Room to read annual report for the funders and partners, Ability to catch the problem right away and make any necessary changes

To summarize from the above; early M&E plan helps in assessing your project activities in case something/anything goes wrong. Also through M & E plan it easier to detect the problem earlier and be able to catch the problem right away and make any necessary changes.

M&E in my organisation has built team work through corporative pressures to achieve better project performances through effective use of the resources allocated to each department.
In this way, the plan has promoted learning amongst the staff through sharing all data hence collection of information from different areas thus aiding our decision making.

An M&E plan in an organization must be measured to reduce problems in a created project whenever tracked of its performance in a given period of time.Let the objectives be well achieved for a better result afterwards.

Monitoring & evaluation helps to track on activities and approach for successful achievements as planned.

These are so exciting examples of GOOD et MEF. They have given me the image of how interesting this course will be. Typically, It will be hard for MEF to move forwards because goals and indicators of success measurement are not clear. Diferently from GOOD.

The module has been very interesting and insightful as a monitoring and evaluation beginner I can truly say that I have gotten enough valuable information and I can't wait to go into module 2. You can say I am already monitoring my progress in this course and I can't wait to go into second module. M&E is truly an amazing subject to learn.

MEH should start by knowing the number of their target settlements, number of girls they are targeting and how much they are going to give each girl. what type of business they are going to invest and how they are doing. What do the girls think about the loan.

Monitoring and Evaluation is of importance because it helps you track the progress of the project this is enabled by the M&E plan

M& E is very important in every project in that :

Through Collecting project information regularly to measure the progress of your project helps to track performance over a given period and to make informed decisions about the effectiveness of projects and the efficient use of resources.

Evaluation is used to measure how well the project activities have achieved the project’s objectives and how much changes in outcomes can be directly linked to a project’s interventions. Together

Monitoring helps you to plan how progress can be measured. This has to do with accessing how the implementing activities are linked the original project design and the efficient use of resources. Evaluation is the comparison between outcomes and the objectives of the programme. This is usually done at specific intervals or at the end of the project life cycle.

I think Monitoring and Evalutaion is crucial in every part of prjects to ensure the information of projects activities and how well project activities to achieved project's objecctives .

Basically, it is worth believing that, if not all but majority of our professional activities involve M&E. Whether you are building your own house or running a school or even implementing for an organization, you will definitely need an M&E skill or a personnel to get along with your project.

GOOD as per name this project will run to guard / watch the girls benefits in all sectors and areas. They should have same privileges as male achieves in Kenya the main functions of this GOOD programs can enhance teh life standards of young girls to provide them same opportunities as men earn.

By adopting following progressive steps which will leads towards the social growth and find their certain place in organiztions and societies fo which they deserve to be.

The steps are as follows:-

1- Get equal education as young male boys gets.
2- Deserve the rights of specific seats in organizations to show their importance, eligiblity and to build their space.
3- Can offer free sims card for thier mobiles to get socially connected.
4- Can offer scooties as conveyance as they do not get respect in Public Transport.

M&E plays the role of Backbone in the project. It takes you to height of success when you are engaged in the project by giving you indicators to track your progress in the project and identify the gaps timely.

The importance of monitoring and evaluation includes the following.

   One of the greatest benefits of M&E is helping organisations to track, analyse and report on relevant information and data throughout the life cycle of a project. This allows the project team to provide robust evidence for all their actions and decisions to stakeholders, donors and community members from day one.

   A well planned M&E helps the project team to get a better understanding of the target population’s needs. This helps to define the scope of the project and design objectives that are relevant, measurable and achievable. A well defined M&E plan also clarifies the process and interventions that will lead to the project’s outputs and deliverable.

3. Effective resource allocation
   All project operations are interwoven around project budgets. The amount of available cash dictates the duration and magnitude of interventions, choices of resources, number of employees etc. M&E is an effective tool for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of finances in project implementation. M&E facilitates with the estimation of the value, worth and impact of project components; and enables the team to verify what works and what doesn’t and where more money should be invested or where budget should be cut. M&E allows the team to make appropriate changes to the financial plan on a regular basis to avoid unfavorable contingencies.

4. Promotes learning & data-driven decision making
   M&E data provides quantifiable results to help the involved parties to learn from project successes and challenges and be more adaptive.Involved parties are better prepared to respond to the ever-evolving project situations, determine what worked and what did not and why it did not work and how it could be improved and make revisions based on data evidence, rather than assumptions.

5. Systematic management of organisation
   M&E also functions as a performance management tool as it facilitates organisations to gather, disseminate and utilise information and data to improve their internal operations and add value to their organisation.

I see both examples a great way to start learning about M&E especially that I'm relating what have been done to the projects I'm working on.

Firstly l have seen that Monitoring and Evaluating is important in organisation funded by donors and for a smooth evaluation figures must be involved .

Hello, I would argue that the main importance of developing a M&E plan is to ensure that all the objectives of a project are achieved within the stipulated timelines and any lessons learnt within the implementation period are applied to future projects.

Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of sport-for-development interventions is of high priority. The relatively recent recognition of the use of sport as a tool in development requires thorough assessment of the value of sport in development and humanitarian disaster contexts.

Its important that we first set some goals, define scope, timeline and how we are going to record, mange and use the information.

M&E are the sides of a coin. For any successful programme, we need to follow the programme from initial phases which includes periodically monitoring, reviewing action plan. This process helps to analyse the performance of the programme.

In my own opinion, the following are some of the importance of M&E .

1. Monitoring and evaluation helps an organization to have a blue print of everything that went on well and all the other aspects that went wrong. And this can help an organization to make necessary changes in their implementation in-order to make things right for the next project.
2. Organizations can detect an existing problem early enough so that adjustments can be made to make everything work out perfectly.Projects never go perfectly according to plan, but a well-designed M&E helps the project stay on track and perform well. M&E plans help define a project’s scope, establish interventions when things go wrong, and give everyone an idea of how those interventions affect the rest of the project. This way, when problems inevitably arise, a quick and effective solution can be implemented.
   3.M&E helps organizations to learn from their mistakes
   Mistakes and failures are part of every organization. M&E provides a detailed blueprint of everything that went right and everything that went wrong during a project. Thorough M&E documents allow organizations to pinpoint specific failures, as opposed to just guessing what caused problems. Often, organizations can learn more from their mistakes than from their successes.
   4.Data should drive decisions. M&E processes provide the essential information needed to see the big picture. After a project wraps up, an organization with good M&E can identify mistakes, successes, and things that can be adapted and replicated for future projects. Decision-making is then influenced by what was learned through past monitoring and evaluation.

The importance of M&E are: * It will keep us and our project on track and will inform us how our project is preforming. Is the project carrying out the activities mentioned in the stated timeline, are the predetermined outputs accomplished or in progress, are the outputs feeding in to the outcomes are some of the questions that will be answered. It also provides with necessary information that can be used to make necessary changes in project's processes. In addition it provides the important inputs for future projects which be used as learning guide.

I don't think it is an easy plan to create , we need time to understand the M&E plan first.

M&E helps the organizations to measures the impact, success and failure of its projects. It also increases the accountability and transparency to the donors and stakeholders. M&E enables the organizations to measure if the projects are gong forward in accordance to the plan.

It is evident that Monitoring and Evaluation help researchers prepare project plan. The plan help track performance of the project, allow informed decision making, measure effectiveness of the project while ensuring efficient use of resources.

M&E is important because it happens to make good decisions after data has been collected. The decisions made will be based on the data collected.

M&E is important for project management because it helps the team to understand progress with fewer personal biases. This can help the team to identify where to concentrate, in other words' lesson learned. Most importantly, gives a clear idea whether the project is on track and help us to measure the value of the project as well.

First of all, MEH team members have the household data information who benefited from this project. MEH make focus group discussion with benefited local girls to understand their current situation or group base line assessment to measure their achievement. After that, team members have group discussion to design M&E plan based on the targeting outcomes and outputs. Teams have to make qualitative and quantitative questionnaires by seeing the M&E plan.

Girls Organizing for Ongoing Development (GOOD) have a good plan for M&E. First of all GOOD making a clearly objective, that's a 1200 new saving in 34 Villages. Measurable objective its a good start, nice to know with number what we want to do in this project. Then, GOOD have a plan for measure and monitoring for every step in a program journey. Really cool and I thinks its a good start for GOOD.

Beside that, MEH need for ASAP M&E plans for their program. Make a good M&E like GOOD its important. I am so enthusiast for this lesson.
