For instance, i observed that in one of the river communities we were implementing one of our projects, a donor constructed public toilets for the community members in order to have a sanitary environment but to my surprise, the constructed public toilets were destroyed within 10 months after commission. from my findings through personal interview with beneficiaries they said that one of the reason for destroying the toilets was that since the construction of the toilet, they have not be getting big fishes and they are stressed before getting fishes in their river because once their feces is thrown into the river, it attract fishes to their area etc.
