Having a clear understanding of self is important for someone/team developing the M&E plan. The M&E framework is as good as the person developing and implementing it. There are various assumptions and biases that if not detected and worked on undermine the credibility of the M&E plan. Such biases may be as a result of imperfect information, overambition, inadequate research or just naivety. Understanding oneself essentially makes one more objective and realistic about the the project life cycle.

My research interest is on the conservation and management of wild animals and their habitats.
