  • Hi everyone I'm Wilkister Olando a Public Health Specialist from Kenya with 9 years progressive experience in programs Design and Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation and Research, in the NGO setup. I have worked as a Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at American International Health Alliance overseeing Monitoring and Evaluation Activities for Kenya DREAMS (HIV prevention program) and Biomedical Engineering projects, Uganda, Zambia and Ethiopian Biomedical Engineering Projects. I previously worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the two AIHA Kenya Programs playing similar roles. Earlier in her career she worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Intern and later Officer for Care International in Kenya Comprehensive HIV program for 3 years in Kisii County Kenya Serving 86 Health Facilities where she successfully designed, directed and managed Monitoring and evaluation Processes and demonstrated management skills in planning, scheduling, organizing, tracking progress, ensuring feasibility of projects and their objectives. Currently at the SRHR Alliance Kenya which is a coalition of 17 civil society organizations, I coordinate M and E and operational research roles She’s currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public health (Epidemiology and population health option),and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with Information Technology and a Certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Kenya Institute of Management with a follow up Monitoring and Evaluation training by an International Organization, Inside NGO now Humentum. I also have a proposal development certification from Humentum.I have successfully submitted 2 Monitoring and Evaluation Abstracts to the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA)2017 held in Ivory Coast and International AIDS conference (IAC)2018 held in Amsterdam Netherlands.

    I'm here to refresh my skills in Monitoring and Evaluation which is my day to day work.
