Find a worthy cause that interests you. Something you are passionate about that can be improved upon. Be it a personal skill or knowledge. Set a target, you need to know when you have achieved the objective. Find people who are passionate about the same thing and interact with them. A great way to network is by offering your services for free (if possible).

Joshua, i 100% agree with you. I also nelive that leadership begins with leading yourself first. Because, if leading yourself in terms of personal organisation and other stuff is a problem, then it will be very difficult to lead others. Leadership skills as important as they are also requires that you critically examine otjer factors as well.
I all agreed with you because without u putting what you learnt about leadership in to practice then you will forget the skills and then what's the purpose of learning then without practice but the must interesting part of leadership is that even at your house you are practicing it indirectly because indirectly you are leading your younger one
What really seperates a leader from a boss is the ability to carry his team along and get them to buy into his vosion and believe his vision. I feel while acquiring all the skills required to drive and achieve all your KPIs it is important to imbibe compassion as thos os what will foster the bond between a leader and his team.

Learning is the main criteria to develop oneself. Learning the relative issues through any course material with a proper guidance from the instructor is very much necessary for the improvement of oneself. To respect every team members and to give importance of everyone's view is necessary to every one, so we should be a good listener also. We should try to asses every one's expectation regarding small issues also and try to act accordingly. We have to correct other fellows wrong doing in a sympathetically . we always have the courage of confessing our fault also otherwise we can not be a leader.
As a leader you should be able to demonstrate clear vision that can enable your team mates or subordinate to understand your direction without ambiguity
As aleader you should be in postion to be fast to understand your team at all times and learning from one another , respecting and developing platform for constructive feed back to the team at all times.
