  • INTRODUCING MYSELF

Hi everyone, my name is Richard Katebe. I'm from Zambia, Southern Africa. I'm the Project Director for Zambia Hearing Disability Improvement Project ( ZAHDIP). The project provides free Screen, testing and free hearing aids to people with hearing loss. In my Country, the prevalence rate of hearing loss is at 6% of the total National population. My city which is our main catchment has a total population of 763,000 people which means that at 6% an estimated 45760 people are living with hearing loss and have no access to affordable hear care services.
