  • RE: Understanding Your Participants

Adjusting Tools is almost unavoidable in the life of any project. There will always be dynamics that make it highly likely that original designs of the project tools might be adjusted to accomodate present realities.

The Best approach to this will be to honestly reach out to all relevant stakeholders on the project, inform them of the experienced challenges and the proposed adjustments to the work tools.

However, for the sake of time and saving cost, these adjustments can as well be done right in the field, next would be to ensure that the adjustments are accurate and does not alter the overall intent of the data collection. Updates of the adjustments can later be shared with stakeholders with a logical explanation of actions.
