The director general has a major stake in the process because he is responsible for providing direction, setting objectives and coming out with goals and strategies to facilitate the preparation of a feasible budget. The finance team, directorates and department heads are also involved in the process. They contribute immensely to the process by providing expected activities for execution in the budget year. The finance team helps with the provision of data on revenues and expenditures incurred in the previous and current budget year to ensure adequate projections are arrived at for the organisation. They also help in monitoring the progress of the budget
