1-The budget or financial proposal is the most challenging. Because, from one side I have less financial knowledge and from other side, knowing and finding the donors that which donor interests to fund which section is hard. But yet, achievable.
2- Firstly, I should prepare a checklist of donors to know their interests and their missions.
2- secondly, ask for a help from an expert.
The same to me. It is eigther ciritical and tricky.
Yeah you are right.
Yes, budgeting itself is challenging, but when it comes to donor interest fit, then it is more challenging.
Good explaination, thank you.
But it is not my friend. The number of direct beneficiaries is the most importantn and initial part of project design. If we don't know the number of benificiaries, how could we allocate the resources, staffing, budgeting.
I reviewed many concerns and ideas. It is helpful to engage in discussion. Becuase there are too many ideas of different perspective give a good insights.
The most challenging part was the way of writing the fundraising elements and to describe them .
The most suitable and good proposal was to connect the crowed funds for the NGO’s with the utility of social media and direct connecting people too.
No it is much simple as it was given
The most challenging part was to write about the way of generations of funds from social network and to implement it to the social being .

It was a good learning concept which clearly help to generate a writing proposal
The most challenging part of writing a fundraising proposal is crafting the objective(s). It requires in-depth thinking.
When in future, the strategy to use would be to identify the following:
•The task to be carried out to accomplish the goal.
•Duration/ timeline.
•Who will perform the task.
•Target group.
•Number of people to be served•
•What success looks like.
I agree with you that the objective section is challenging and requires a lot of thinking.
Most challenging is to write only the necessary things but still adress the things the funder is interested in.
In future I will use more time with getting to know the funder and their needs for funding.
The most challenging is thinking a proposal without a real organization. Additionally, to write keeping in mind it should be brief and as much exciting as be posible for the readers and trying to make them feel interested in reed the whole proposal.

Yes, it requires a lot of deep thinking and organizational skills to write a good and successful proposal.
Yes, putting together a good budget is challenging. It has been my experience, however, that after you have had some experience with budget writing, it becomes easier and the quality improves. Good luck with your work!
I think the objective is the most challenging part since you need to plan ahead what you would do with the money, step by step. It is, somehow, easy to overplan and forget about some problems you might have along of the way.
I also think the budget is a challenging part. You need to consider everything and be detailed.
I believe that the most difficult thing is to summarize the entire project in a few words.
I believe that the most difficult thing is to summarize the entire project in a few words.
The greatest strategy is that we must create a project with a clear, measurable, quantified objective and develop a timeline for both success / failure and evaluation.
On many occasions the financial part is the most difficult, however I think that if it is planned and projected from the beginning it could be much easier.
The most challenging aspect of Proposal writing is to finalizing the budget and preparing the supportive statements
Rester objectif et répondre à toutes les questions que peuvent se poser les donateurs
le montant de la proposition : les activités / opérations à prendre en compte au regard des possibles restriction
I have done proposals for like 20 years. But it s always good to review. the challenge was remembering some of the basics.
To understan the difference between goal and objective is the most challenging for me.
Less is more!
Developing a community of social media users
I did not try to tackle writing a budget. Intimidating and I need more training on that. The module was excellent.

Trying to determine if your proposal fits the criteria.
I agree, I am intimidated by the budget process and I don't actually control a budget. I am a volunteer.
for #2, I will ask the team to review before submitting it.
The objective part, but I did my best is a learning process
The most challenging is to fit to the all funder requirement
I agree with you
I agree with your answer
For me, the hard part is to explain the rather complex goal of our initiative in easy and readily understandable terms.
My strategy will be to follow Tom's structure very thoroughly and to make sure to answer all question that are in the PDF form we used to submit our proposal
I agree, the budget needs very close knowledge of your operation
It was challenging to keep the proposal only to the essentials when I am so passionate about the program. I also found it challenging to put the amount for the grant, it will be easier when I have an actual budget.
I will focus on keeping the proposal concise and only including essential information by using Tom's advice in the lecture. I will also focus on researching my funder beforehand, this will help in the writing process.
Hi there, yes sometimes it is good to go back to the basics. Glad this helped you.
The budget was also challenging for me. I think this will be easier when doing a real proposal as you will have realistic goals to do an actual budget on, the finance team can also help with this. I also enjoyed this module.
I am from India and One of the things I find hard is keeping proposals only to the essential info, no jargon and less descriptive . One thing I will focus on in the future is keeping to the core information and using Tom's framework to bullet point only what is essential!
The most challenging part was explaining the abstract and goals before objectives I have however learnt how to be concise and straightforward
Most Challenging: Understanding the desires and wants of the account holder. Each grant provider has different expectations.
One Strategy: Listen and ask questions of the provider.
This part of Proposal writing is very well organized
Good materials
Relevant Assignments
Yes, I agree that not putting in any jargon is very difficult. I understand that adjectives can be over-used, but disagree with the instructor's position that adjectives should never be used.
For me that's the capability part that is found a bit difficult to conceive.
The most challenging part was balancing the need to be thorough with the desire to be brief. I took several minutes going through my draft as asking, "Is this critical information?"
One strategy that you will use is budgeting for the funder/potential donor, instead of using the same budget in each proposal.
This can be challenging without a dedicated financial person on your team.. I wonder if there are accountants or others who would be willing to donate their time and expertise in this way.
Summarising a whole proposal of about 40 pages to 3 pages
I agree. sticking to the issue and researching the specific needs of a donor is very important for any postive feed back
I could not find a sample budget in the guide as indicated.
The budgeting part is somewhat challenging, in the future I will get a team member who came from the finance background.
The budget is challenging
The most challenging part was problem statement that would be in line with the donors priority areas. What I will do differently is to ensure that the executive summary/abstract is clear/precise and well communicated.
It is always difficult to explain the need in a way that will tug at the heartstrings of the organization you are requesting money from. You worry if you said the right things in a way that will get you the help you so desperately need.
Very similar to what I posted. You want to grab them and hope that what you are saying will line up with what they see as a real need.
Same here! I have done many of them, and it is helpful to get reminders. I still go back over grant writing books to refresh myself when writing them.
The module has provided a very clear description on proposal writing.
Understanding the donor requirements is critical as you develop the problem statement.
The introduction seems tasking, but if gotten right the whole work will be seamless
The technical known how and good knowledge of the funder is a key

That's great, Tom's teachings are actual and practical.
That's great, Tom's teachings are actual and practical.
The challenge we faced is to cope with Donors requirements which are somehow contrary to country's governing laws
For me the objective part was the most difficult.
The most challenging part for me, is the abstract statement.
the challenge had while writing my proposal was making sure to give simple but detailed information. The strategy i used was who, what when, and why
One of the things I find hard is keeping proposals only to the essential info.
The abstract part is the challenge part
Yeah this is very true and not doubting it
The abstract parts needs an example to
Very Good
Crowdfunding campaigns often offer rewards or perks to incentivize people to support the project.
the topic proposal writing is so timely especially in todays society where we have ideas to help but resources are few
I found it hard in the preparation of budget I need to put more effort on this part.
There is a need of having strong influence of the well known person in your board to push up the donations.
Then try to use short sentences and short paragraph it could be easier to express about your organisation and the amount you need and its purposes.
Carefully select the foundations or donors which performs the related task or with the same priorities with your organization it could easier to get funds.

.
I agree with you. I haven't even tried that part but I can imagine that it would be very challenging.
