Hi Chinaka,
I agree with you that strategic framework that is required to management internal and external communication with stakeholders. It also helps build and design the organization structure to meet the business' objectives it also guides the employees to know their rights and responsibilities and helps divide the functions of a company, enterprise or department.

i knew that organisations structures are created at random. now i know phases of organisation growth also contribute to the changes in an organisation chart.
Before l started module 2, l never knew how important human capital management is, but now l have read and studied to realize it is important to build and grow my teams.
The Organizational Structure was a good eye opener, on how to structure my organization. A now understand that a well structured chart helps to keep decision making nimble and internal channels of communication productive.
Before going into this module, I used to think that it takes an exceptional skill set to actually development and implement an organisational structure, but after this module I've come to realize that it's not. I'm glad I took this course because I can now confidently handle organisational structure especially the ones that comes with organisational change.
Enhanced vision about organisational development.
I use to think I can just wake up anytime and start up an enterprise, but now; having known the importance of structure, I know why most organisations fail at their early stages.

You can draw the chart as it grows taking into cognizance that an organization grows and the four types needs to be incorporated.

On what does an organization start? It is definitely structure. If a house is not built on a solid foundation, it will surely collapse, that's why organizational structure is very important.

Wishing us all happy learning.
Before going through the Module 2, I used to think ___ my initiative won't make it , but now __ i am fully inspired__.
Before going to module 2, I have no idea and how relavant is otganiorgani chart but after finishing the module I believe that there is no active and goal determined organization without organization chart.
Its good to analyze our planning in a short, medium and long way, Know were we are going and plan in an longer way. Incllude the team in all the journey and have the correct divisions in teh organization .
Prior to now, I had a vague understanding of the Organizational Chart.
However, now I have come to understand that it is key to laying down a crucial structural foundation of the internal relationships and talent needs within the workplace. It is also a clear indicator of the existing ranks and various reporting channels, as well as key functions therein.

The changes I will be bringing in is actually "broadcasting" our values and the strategy to all of our team members so that they KNOW they are important. I will be introducing monthly lunches to recap on how everyone is doing and from the first one there, I will be getting them to come up with ideas as how we can work on our team work strategies etc.

Thank you for sharing
I have learnt a lot from Modules 1 to 4 and the changes I plan to make at my organisation will be translating my organization's values into my organization's culture. This can be done by sensitizing my team members and fellow colleagues. i will also re brand the values of my organization.
I will also ensure that my human capital strategy is aligning with the reality of my organization and the environment in which it operates. In the educational sector, there are competitors but what will make my organization stand out will be investing in human capital strategy and building a connection between communication and collaboration across my organization.
I intend to hire the right hand for the job using the four phases of hiring. A highly motivated employee will give the best. Through goal setting and achieving those goals within the time frame and setting a reward system that is functional will go a long way to reduce staff turnover.
Before going to module two i used to think its not a must for the organisation structure to change as it grows but now i know that the organisation structure changes as there is more growth.
Before going through the module 2, I used to think on the simplicity of the original structure, narrowing the structure just from the superior to the subordinates down, but now I have learn the critical dimensional of an organization structures from the starting point to next future and years after.

Do have a restful weekend and an impacting new week ahead!
Before going through the Module 2, I used to think of practical short term plans; taking one step at a time, but now I learnt a clear value statement, vision and mission can guide an organization into mapping a biz model and growth chart to help the organization scale.
BEFORE GOING THROUGH MODULE TWO,I DIDN'T KNOW THAT MATRIX IS ONE WAY PEOPLE CAN BE GROUPED OTHER THAN FUCTIONAL,DIVISIONAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL
Before going through this module, I used to think setting up an organisation require only capital but now I know that the growth of an organisation can be drafted even at birth. And that organisation are structured base on the mission of the organisation. I am happy I took this course.
This module is an eye opener for me. I have realized that Organization chart/structure has to be divided into Geographical, division, functional and matrix (depending on the Organization and this can be modified to suit any Organization).
Also, i have realized that a holistic view of the Organization taking into consideration future growth and expansion must be considered when planning an Organization chart.

Before I did this module module, I used to think that, the organizational chart/structure is just a decoration but now I've come to realize what it meant in terms of function, division, matrix and geographical aspects of an org.!
After the model 2 I now know the value of plan for growth.
Participating in this assignment and the lessons learnt from the case studies have been quite insightful on valuable considerations for human resource planning for organizational growth.
Before going through module 2 I did not know that organizational models could be grouped into four organizational structures such as geographic, divisional, functional and matrix. I worked at a University and the organizational model can get very complex. Module 2 help me to understand it a lot more.
Before going through this module I didn't see the need for drawing an organisational chart but I know better now.
