I am a Development and Communications Coordinator for a local non-profit called Growing Up Boulder which works to empower youth voices in decisions that affect their lives. I actually don't need to fundraise for my job, but I am interested in fundraising for my kid's amazing daycare, where the teachers are underpaid (as they are in so many daycares). I have never studied anything like this (I'm a philosopher) so I don't really know what I will be learning, but I hope to get some ideas that will enable me to help in the development of a long-term fundraising plan for our daycare.
