My name is Kwakhe Maramnco and I am from South Africa. I used to work as a Senior Programme Officer for an NGO called the East Cape Agricultural Research Project. I was recently retrenched as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In December 2020, I hooked up with two former colleagues and we registered an NGO that will focus on issues around gender based violence (which has been declared a pandemic by our government) and empowering the young girl.

Even though I have 12 years experience of working in the NGO sector, I thought I should broafen my knowledge by studying topics that are relevant to what I want to do going forward. I think taking in course is a step in the right direction.

I not going mention the hunger that they go through in life all this is because parents are not working and some they are the child headed family as the parents are gone

Hi Everyone. I am Utkarsh from Gujarat, India. I am a Development sector professional and previously used to work with a non profit working on urban homelessness across four cities in India with focus on providing those among homeless with Illnesses and physical injuries a space (Recovery Shelter) where they can stay, get nutrition, get primary care as well as referrals to public health institutions and can stay there till they recover. The intervention worked in tandem with a Street Medicine program that helped those on street get primary health consultation as well as referrals to public health institutions if required and at the recovery shelters run by the organization. I was involved with the program in the role of Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator.

While going through the course provided by FHi360 on M & E, i realized that essentials of Non Profit strategy is much required so i have enrolled for the course.

Hi. My name is Samantha. I'm taking this course from the US. I work in the field of coastal and marine conservation and am currently assisting a small NGO in this field to establish a strategic plan. I have studied strategic planning in the past and have already had the chance to apply it but I think this course could serve as a good refresher, especially given it's focus on the nonprofit side of things. I'm excited to review all the different steps involved in the strategic process.
