I Studying 2 Courses For M&E Officer.enough?
1 ReplyI am studying Planning For Monitoring and Evaluation Course and From Data Collection to Data Use Course. Can I work as an M&E Officer in an NGO just by studying these two courses?

Course instructors have indicated that M&E is a subject that goes beyond what has been covered in the two courses. I am of the view that the courses build your capacity in handling project data more professionally. Therefore, if you can work under and/or with an M&E specialist and continue to study to develop skills in data analysis, you can work after a year or so work as an M&E officer. This is just my opinion, M&E specialists can offer more expert advice on the matter.
