I am Nidhi Batra, a development practitioner with over 16 years of experience from Delhi, India. I am trained as an architect, urban designer and work as a strategy and skill development expert. I am presently a consultant with The World Bank and National Skill Development Corporation, India. I also have my own not for profit called Sehreeti. My intent from this course is to learn more about theory of change models and apply it for my own not for profit which works on sustainable development and also for my other consulting projects where I regularly undertake M&E. My name is Uche Nwosu from Nigeria. I work mostly in the civil society/NGO sector. However, I have experiences in the private and public sectors.
Most of my experiences while working as a civil leader has been on programs, so I intend to use this course to learn the finance aspects of managing an NGO. Also, I intend that the course will make me better qualified for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) roles in NGOs.
I am excited by the idea that like private sectors, NGOs too have finance principles that need to adhered to to be a success.
