In Module 5, you learned about changing beneficiaries’ behavior and anticipating failure in your work.
In the assignment for this module, you completed a hypothetical “pre-mortem” and brainstormed potential problems that could lead to failure of your organization in achieving its goals.
Choose one problem that you listed in your “pre-mortem” that you think is the biggest risk for your organization.
If you do not currently work at an organization, choose an organization you would like to work for and imagine a problem they might face. Then, imagine that a colleague asks you why you think the problem is so important and why it would require a mitigation strategy.

The problem of community fundraising initiatives not being supported because the value of the College to the community is misunderstood is so important for us to consider because it will take support from the all facets of the community to reach the main outcome. This problem requires a mitigation strategy because there should be little doubt in the minds of the general public about why it is important to support the College and ensure it remains sustainable for future generations.
