  • Hi every one, My name is Simeon Mihinga, a director of Makutano ya Wajasiriamali (NGO) from Tanzania. We are working to promote the growth and empowerment of entrepreneurs especially the marginalized ones. At this time we have to close our office and embark upon educating our beneficiaries on proper strategies to avoid COVID-19 contamination. Most of the entrepreneurs we support such as farmers, small business men and women , fishermen and the like are sadly hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Customers are few, international trade is low and every one can not conduct business as usual. We would be delighted if we would get any assistance related to helping entrepreneurs and the community at this time. Most of them need hand washers, sanitizers, soaps, nasks and related brochures for protecting themselves and their customers. You can call me at +255766461068 or mihingasime@gmail.com. Let's work together to combat COVID-19.

I am Maitse Twala from Harrismith in South Africa. Professionally i am an Administrative Clerk for the department of educatipn and i am also involved in an NPO in our area that is focusing on developing the community through sport. Our community is a very underprivilige community as most of our community members are unemployed and what keeps the community together is sport especially soccer. The youth has began using drugs and teenage pregnancy has increased dramtically. So that is where we want to get in as an NPO by developing them. For example like those who like refereeing will be taking to the workshops and talented players will be taken to the academies that will develop the more.

Only few use masks, churches and mosques do public prayers with little or no regards for social distance. All go about their business and lives as usual and there's no outbreak and I don't think there would be any, my opinion.
