  • Introduce yourself to the community!

    Hi everyone,

Welcome to the Indonesia community of practice! My name is Jason and I’m a community manager here at Philanthropy University.

Please use this topic to introduce yourselves to everyone else in the community. What is your name? Where do you live? Where do you work? What is your role? Why did you choose to join this community?

  • Hi,

My name is Bryson Keenan. I am currently living and working in Kabul, Afghanistan, but will be based in Australia from April.

Prior to working in Afghanistan, I spent the best part of 15 years in Indonesia. My intent, after April, is to work (initially as a volunteer, and part-time FIFO from Australia) with a non-profit in Indonesia, either in Development or Emergency/Disaster Management (I am currently in Emergency Management with a Development agency!). I thought this community would be the best fit.

    Best regards,

    Bryson

Welcome Bryson! Great to have you here :)

It sounds like you have a fascinating background. What were you doing in Indonesia for 15 years prior to working in Afghanistan? Can you share more about the work that you're doing now?

  • Welcome @tandikara! Can you share some about yourself with the rest of the community? Where do you work and what do you do?

  • Welcome @andrew! Great to have you in the Indonesia community of practice.

From your profile, it looks like you are living in Saudi Arabia now but know Chinese. Are you originally from Indonesia or otherwise have a connection with Indonesia? Can you share some about what your organization KAUST does?

Looks like your connection to PhilanthropyU was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
