  • Hi everyone, I'm Maria Alejandra Moreno project coordinator at "Fundacion Guanacas" non-profit organization located in Medellín, Antioquia.
We manage a forest reserve of approximately 900 hectares in the high Andean forest of Santa Rosa de Osos, where we carry out conservation and restoration activities to preserve the Tropical Mountain Cloud Forest which is a key ecosystem for water supply and its known for its great biodiversity.

Our main goal is to keep managing the reserve in order to stop the expansion of unsustainable production activities that generate pressure on forest fragments and affect the development of life in general.
I'm glad to have found a place to learn about fundraising strategies and make nature conservation sustainable.

    Nice to meet you all!
