@omooko_ said in What is the different between Leader and Master?:
Hello @Omooko_, thank you for posting!
@all - Do other members of this Community have ideas to share?
Not exactly sure how you are define the term Master, but I think that the difference would be a leader understands that to lead you must also know how to and be willing to be a servant. A master is one that delegates orders and expects to be served. It is better to be a leader than a master.
A master is just someone like the owner of the company but a leader is the leading organising and or mobilising both workers and other resources in meaningful way to achieve organisational goals
@Omooko_ These are two different terms which imply two different types of relationships that exist between human beings. The key element that separates these two types of people is the element of force;masters will use force and intimidation on others so their commands will be obeyed, while leaders will naturally gain admiration from their peers for contributions that they have made to the community.@Mark_G ............... I hope this help
A master could be a man who has people working for him, so leader is chosen by people who are inspired by his acts.
Simply put... A master wants to be serve while a leader serves
@Omooko_
A leader is some who empowers the people with his or her skills. On the other hand, Master is someone who is very subjective in nature. He may be the one who wants to enjoy privileges and command others. He may also be responsible for creating good leaders. However, to be generic, a master is someone who trains, and expects a return in terms as per his or her wish.
You are right. A leader empowers
@Mark_G
A master instructs. A master can instruct for a task he never knew any thing about to be carried out. But a leader leads a process. The achievement of any organization is dependent on the quality of its leader.

A leader is a person who has the power and ability to can influence or persuade a person, team or group of people to do something, While on the other hand a master is someone who uses authority or power to instruct a person, team or people to do something either voluntarily or in voluntarily.

masters will use force and intimidation on others so their commands will be obeyed, while leaders will naturally gain admiration from their peers for contributions that they have made to the community. Leaders have no interest in obedience and have no time to bark out orders; they are too busy hacking through the vines in the jungle, clearing a path for the rest of us to follow.
Leaders are chosen voluntarily by people who are inspired by their acts, while masters are imposed on many different people who have no choice in the matter and would most likely prefer to be left alone if they were given the opportunity
A master is a person who has general authority over others.example one in charge of a boxing group.
A leaderis a person who guide or inspire others.
A master is a person with the ability or power to use and control and a leader is a person who empowers people to fulfill their God given potential.
A Master
As a Noun:
A man who has people working for him, especially servants or slaves.
A man in charge of an organization or group, in particular.
A skilled practitioner of a particular art or activity.
As an Adjective:
It is having or showing very great skill or proficiency.
A Leader
According to the idea of transformational leadership, An effective leader is a person who does the following: Creates an inspiring vision of the future. Motivates and inspires people to engage with that vision.
A master is a person who uses force to ensure their commands are obeyed by those under him/ her. In many occasions they use coercion, intimidation and even threats. On the other hand, leaders identify weakness facing the people in a given situation and seek to fix/address the same for the benefit of all. A leader unlike a master is always bold,
courageous and creative earning him/her admiration by his/her peers naturally.

True leaders set a positive example for others to follow by partaking in voluntary interactions with their peers and showing the community how to live more meaningful and peaceful lives.Leaders have no interest in obedience and have no time to bark out orders. On the other hand, masters are imposed on many different people who have no choice in the matter and would most likely prefer to be left alone if they were given the opportunity.

For me, there are diverse ways of explaining the two concepts however, I would like to differentiate them by stating that a leader is someone whose success is measured by his/her ability to create the right foundation and provide guidance in building people and structures that reflect his/her values. This success simply means that their followers invariably become like them and produce the same effect and values as the person they follow.
A Master on the other hand, lays down rules that must be followed. Focus is on structures and procedures and more often than not, a repetition of certain standards, actions and systems that have worked in the past and must not be improved or modified.
Well ..a leader is someone who guides people towards a certain goal..he does not need to abide by what he teaches or instructs ..a master is someone who has diverse and immense knowledge about something and lives by it.unlike a leader ..a master teaches wine and drinks wine. A leader can teach water and drink wine

the leader is one who lead and direct those placed under him. while a master is on who has control even over the leader himself.
A master is the head of group of people who is served by servants due to the power he wields why a leader is someone who serves and inspire people through is behavior. a leader is followed willingly
I am agree with the posted of my peer Klexy, in fact, the master is the head of group, but the leader all the time give example to follow for the other people
I would say.
A leader is someone who performs or demonstrates qualities that others would look up to or can rely on to lead in the best direction .
A master is someone who has mastered their field of study and shares their wisdom to those who seek knowledge
