@Vongai @STEPHANIE @SandileNtombela @Sello @Ntsiki @Tapiwa do you have any advice or thoughts or questions to share with Eva?

  • Hi there,
I'm Rindai, I am part of InHuman Trade based in Johannesburg. Our organisation is so small, so we each do a bit of everything. My strengths are in the facilitating of workshops or training or capacity building sessions. I think Programs Director is what we tell people though.
I joined this community to learn about M&E because I am truly clueless on the topic and I'm looking to learn with people that are like me and from people that know more than me. Maybe I may even score an internship of sorts with a bigger organisation so that I can see what I am learning in practice.

  • Welcome everyone, it is great to have you here! I hope you will use this community as a way to connect with others in South Africa doing great work or seeking to make a positive impact in their communities :)

  • Hi all,
My name is Liz Lindeque and I am from Pretoria. I have a love for giving back and have been involved in prison ministry for the past 12 years. Seven years ago I left my corporate position to move into full-time ministry and to further my studies. I attended Bible College and in June 2017 I was ordained as a Pastor. My passion is for the homeless, prostitutes, pimps and prisoners. I currently serve in ODI, Kgosi Mmampuru II and Baviaanspoort prisons and I also reach out to those in need on the street.
I feel that this course will assist me in identifying ling-term donors as this is my greatest challenge at the moment.
I am hoping to connect with people that I can learn from and people who would like to learn from me. I believe that we are one Body and that the Gospel needs to reach even those living in darkness.
    Be blessed.

My interest is based on the very urgent mandate we have to get our schools digitised and within the ICT space. My drive is the challenges faced, one of the most basic being community advocacy and security. Sometimes a project will target one of our poorest schools and will be seen to be rising only to be derailed by such issues as theft, lack of skills to implement and such challenges. I hope to learn skills that will develop me to work beyond my office space and performance management contract.

Hello everyone, my name is Lindie . I stay in Katlehong, a township in the east of Johannesburg. I work as an admin assistant full time but my passion is working with the community. I am a community leader in my area, I belong to a committee that is setup by the community to assist with different challenges we face daily . We deal with disputes, assist needy families and partner with schools to tackle challenges. But my main passion is working with the girl child. I run a girls club in my area . In South Africa we are facing the phenomenon of "blessers " where young girls are lured by money to have relationships with older men. They end up dropping out of school, falling pregnant or contracting HIV. In our club we educate, advocate and do social activities like dance and netball to give girls opportunities to do positive stuff . I am looking to partner with like minded people
