In Sí Mamá we are a group of women with business background, teaching Financial Skills and the Business Model Canvas to women that are household heads and currently unemployed, also women that suffered domestic violence, who look up to be financially independent, to start its own business and have better opportunities in life, financially speaking.

In Mujeres Deconstruyendo we are a group of women teaching Carpentry, Mechanics, Electrical skills -and others known as “manly”-, combined with financial skills, to women from vulnerable areas around the capital city of Paraguay, Asunción.
Our goal is to transmit our knowledge in this field to other women, encouraging each other to work in these fields and start our own businesses too, to empower ourselves as a community of women breaking gender stereotypes.

We hope one day we could also introduce psychological counsellors to our team in the future, but for now we are a small self funded project that aims to grow slowly but successfully. For us, the story of each woman matters.

I'm here to try to figure out how to raise money for more tools and a bigger place for our organization, for more women in our workshops.

I'm also glad that I found this course, and for finding such interesting people and projects. Hope we can lift each other up and achieve goals together!
