Me and some friends are trying to create an organization our mission will be to provide school supplies to the kinds and rural areas and also try to find a way to give courses to the teachers so they con work with update material and provide better education to the children

wooow thats a really great missing and also very interesting I think the most of the young people is very interested in that kind of mission what will make it easier to foundraise... somehow
We train youth to become active citizens, responsible leaders and social entrepreneurs. We promote youth participation in decision making through advocacy and strengthening of youth networks.
Our mission: "Improve the life of children from disadvantaged rural areas in our region through education and emotional support."
I think you have the potential to attract many donors, because your mission statement is broad enough, but at the same time you might have some competition, depending on what other organizations are doing the same kind of work in your region.

Sounds great. Maybe you could also point out that the better education is a means to an end, something like "improve the quality of life" or "reduce school dropout".
This one is too broad, most definitely will have a lot of competition
Our mission is to address healthy and treated water for each house hold in the eastern Africa.
Our mission is to achieve an integrated, egalitarian and poverty-free society.
I like the word "Africa", but in wich state? Africa is such a large continent...
Our mission: To promote healthy menstrual and sexual practices for women and girls in Zimbabwe
Your mission is sounding and shows focus, however i do no see how you plan going about it
Your mission is good up to a point, first it wide in scope (East Africa), this might be a problem when fundraising for funds. It is also broad and hence will face a stiff competition
Our mission is " To reduce unemployment and poverty levels in the district of Kafue by providing mentorship , incubation and financial support to startup businesses"
Your mission is focused , narrow and specific , how i wish you could have broadened it to include all health challenges unique to women. All the same i think it is appealing to donors with a focus on helping women on health related hiccups
Your mission statement is not coming out very clear . Donors might experience difficulties in establishing exactly what your organization is into. The donors need to see the ingenious ideas you intend to use to pull people out of poverty.
Your mission is really clear and well structured, as it contains a broader area of interest for potential donors such as "people living with HIV/AIDS" but also it is narrowed to a specific area. So you have a lot of potential donors and not so many competitors as you are specialized in a specific area.
I think that your mission is too general. You should make it more narrow to specific practices you follow to be more clear for the potential donors.
our mission statement is increasing the percentage of girls enrolled in schools and getting the off the streets
this is beautiful
Support socio-economic development and promotion of peace building initiatives to enable communities enjoy prosperous and fulfilling lives

Our Mission is to create the next generation of talented community social entrepreneurs through the provision of service-oriented programs to improve their access to opportunities, capacity building, and economic capacity with a motivation to solve social challenges.
The Mission statement is simple, clear and very specific
Shows what is the aim of the Organization. Very clear
Our organization's mission statement is to improve young people’s livelihoods and prosperity overall, as well as to build capacity and alleviate poverty in the community.
The clean water project mission is very popular, well thought after causes in third world countries, it's very competitive with a large pool of many donors with funds able, but they need specifics, and as already pointed out to cover the entire east Africa is to wide, potential funders will only be interested if most vulnerable countries in that African region are the main focus of the mission.
This mission statement is likely to draw the of many donors, because girl, women, and youth empowerment are the most popular causes funded by first world countries in third world countries, given this they are most definitely likely to face a great deal of funding competition due to the popularity of the cause.
The mission is likely to attract many regional and local donors as it is focused on a particular area, and because of this they may not likely face a great deal of funding competition.
We raise money to improve breast cancer research.

Our mission is to provide quality, affordable higher education to individuals in economically developing countries by building a vibrant international academic community through which researchers, educators, and students can interact.
Promoting education in youth is a commendable mission. It seems like these two statements could be combined. And if you include positive phrasing, it is more welcome than "eliminate ignorance".
How about: Our organization's mission statement is to alleviate community poverty by building young people's capacity to improve their prosperity,
Our mission is to protect well known marks and prevent the infringement of them by illegal entities.
To develop and implement innovative, inclusive and integrated solutions to challenges facing young people in society especially in the area of education, employment and entrepreneurship.
The Mission will attract many funders as there are many organisation in the world interested in the youth especially in education, unemployment and entrepreneurship.
There are also many players trying who are trying to play a role in resolving these problems.
Our focus is in finding innovative, integrated and inclusive solutions.
Our mission is a brighter future for the youth generation through sensitization on hazardous narcotics drugs and rehabilitation of the addicts.
This is vision and not mission because it tell us what you want to address, but not how you will address it
This statement does not clear in vision, then the mission is not stated how you want to achieve the goal
It will probably not be the favorite of the donor
The mission is too broad and will attracts many competitors,
Therefore it must have other good features to be a choice of donors, like community reputation and accountability
Making quality education accessible for young scholars to reduce social inequality in central America
Good mission statement
To support Foster homes with essentials during the Covid 19 pandemic
This is a good mission and is likely to get funded due to its sensitivity globally
The initiative is good, and straight to the point. Therefore it's likely to get less competition and more funding since it's focusing on a human need in a specific area

Hola!! Creo que entiendo bien de qué se trata pero no es un statement que sea fácil de recordar en la versión en español. La versión en inglés es más directa. Sugiero cortatla a 8 palabras como el tip de Standford.
its very clear!!! Want to hear more about it! For sure is attractive to potential donors.

This mission statement is powerful and very broad. Sure many donors will will be attracted to and the level of competition shall be high. It is almost unrealistic to solve poverty issues in the whole world. There is that organization targeting a particular continent as others a particular country.
Will attract fewer donors.
The statement is well conceptualised and narrow enough to face low competition.
Considering the importance of a mission and the role it plays in the success of every organization, much thought needs to be put into it when coming out with a mission statement
My mission statement is to help rural youth better understand the benefits of technology and its application
Our mission is to Advocate for Integrated Mental Health Systems in Kenya
We are just starting so don't have a mission statement.

This is one of the important agendas where a lot of different organisations are focusing on. Moreover, we should also look into how and what kind of digital interventions can be introduced in the area of education to facilitate seamless and affordable education services that would reach the masses.
Nowadays, people have started discussing about the mental health more often than earlier. In fact, Governments across the globe are taking a lot of initiatives to ensure proper mental health for all especially during the pandemic times as well.
This was a mission statement based on an app I helped build: To provide a safe online community for Black LGBTQ+ people based on our values of authenticity, afrocentricity, and community.
I'm currently in the process of starting a new venture and we don't have a mission statement yet, but we want to serve Black communities in Chicago.
Absolutely. The priorities have shifted under COVID, but even prior to, mental health must be normalized.
This is vague, but I love where it could go once actualized.

To advance a circular economy across Africa through reinforcing environmental sustainability, climate action and recycling culture.
My organization's mission is to gather knowledge and research on sustainable agriculture and local practices and support from collectives and peasants towards food justice.
I believe this mission addresses with Tom discusses in the podcast, in the sense that is broad (being at a time interesting and relevant). So it should give more opportunities to find potential donors, although increases competitivity for the lack of specificity or apparent uniqueness.
I think the mission was formulated in a very interesting way, because it is broad in terms of values (which can target many donors), at the same time that it emphasizes the peculiarities of the organization's scope, based on the concept of circular economy. I believe it should give a perfect balance between competition and increasing the number of potential donors.
Inspiring and equipping activists to change the world
Our mission is to create infrastructure and provide resources for education to Tarahumara children and youth in the mountainous area of Chihuahua Mexico
This mission statement is average the verb is not strong enough a better verb could be to reduce a particular health problem not general health issue which is too broad
Those this is great but outcome not included I e what will happen when your target are educated.
Too broad and verb usage not strong enough, your targets can't be easily defined.
Mission: keep Italy's beaches and waters clean.
I think the mission could be formulated a little better, but I find it broad -> target many donors
Our mission is to protect the water resources in the western China, and make everyone drink clear water! In addition, we will assist the local government to contact with companies which are aimed at water purification equipment!

Hi, my organization mission statement is to empower and Transform society
I don't think this mission can attract any funding since it has been replicated by many organizations and uses the very same boring verbs used by other organizations.
What is the difference between create and provide? make sure you mission is clear, unless you will not attract any funding.
