Hello my name is LuLu Zoo. I work at a Zoo in the USA and I am taking this course to be learn the fundraising fundamentals. My goal is to be able to diversify my current fundraising strategies, which are largely oratory in nature and usually involve story telling. Last class I learned about writing letters and I realized having that skill would be helpful and wanted to learn fundraising communication skills. Once I take this course, I plan to use these strategies as I learn them into my job, so that eventually they become second nature. So for example, after completing an assignment, I would use work to give myself extra "assignments." I am most excited to learn things I don't already know, which will then lead me to other things.
