GENIAL COURSE AND INTERESTING COURSE
It is an amazing module. for years we have been used to reading "Eureka" methodology of success stories where idea just came to Entrepreneur. But Social Entrepreneur needs just more than Eureka Idea because his or her idea impacts people, community and society. To design such a venture , immersing with an idea is not enough, one has to get first hand version of a problem ecosystem which can only be understood well by participating, learning, understanding and if possible stand closer to the problem and feel it. Human centered designs makes the process much enchanting.
The education here is really interesting and innovative as it has opened me to new area of knowledge especially on design thinking for social innovation, how to frame my own design challenge and even basics on how to use a fillable PDF worksheet.
Let's say it was one more lesson and more knowledge about what I came here looking for.
in this module i have leaned different ways of solving human problems in our society and find ways to get solutions.
It has been an insightful module. As a social entreprenuer I have learnt quite a lot on how to solve problems in a community.
I learned a lot from the design tool kit, too. Most of the questions I had regarding my social venture has been well addressed.
Insightful
working as entrepreneur for future benefit of community
this is a great class, I learned a lot about social entrepreneurship, etc.
really great i found this. really thank u
8 step to problem selving :
I like the Human Centered Design once you have identified a problem that you can solve it is important not to think of your own solution and implement it because people might reject it and it may cost alot of money. You can observe what has worked in other neibouring villages and use that as a basis to formulate your solution. also consider the culture, way of life, method of income and income of the people for whom you want to provide a solution
The contents of module were designed in a way to understand the basic concepts very easily. The concept of Design thinking really open ups different way of looking at problems and finding their solutions. Excited for the next module/
I do love this topic because it helped the context of organization structures
It gave me more insights regarding social entrepreneurship!!!
It gave me more insights regarding vision, mission and core values in a company!!
good info on comparing on the vision, mission statement and core values
they pin-pointed on how to tackle certain issues, giving some guidelines on how we can start our journey. Great insights.
Studying global social entrepreneurship makes me feel my project has a future.
for this first model, I have come to critically know the job description of a social entrepreneur. also how the human centered designs operate in solving societal problems. I look forward to gaining more into this topic.
I really learnt a lot especially with particular focus to community engagement in every research. I learnt about good public relations skills and human management so as to create a lasting relationship.
Design thinking process involves pinpointing and arriving at the ultimate solution. It is a human centered solution approach. First by creating an empathy map for the persona or the person who has the problem. An empathy map is a model based on the individual situation of a person. Secondly, the problem definition has established. This is the framework for the brainstorming or iteration to extract solutions. This process is non judgemental. The succeeding are the prototype and solution.
A very practical way of learning. I came to appreciate that not all the methods would apply to the same contexts at all given times. However, where possible, employing all three mothods (over time if need be) would generate optimum results.
I learned a lot on how to approach social problems from a human-centred design thinking. I also learnt the stages in social entreprenuership , inspiration, ideation and implementation.
This training was fantastic since I was able to apply the concepts taught to real-world challenges.
My question is how long should a project take to move from the concept stage to the implementation stage?

It was a really interesting module that made me consider a different approach when I am thinking about social entrepreneurship. Before, I used to have my solution in my mind without approaching and getting to know those who will be served. With this module, I understand that the people I plan to serve are those who can bring inspiration and make me think about the best ways to solve issues

It is prime responsibility of social entrepreneurs to find a problem as an opportunity. Then, those should collect information through inspiration: Form people, from expert, and immersing, to go the ideation and implementation. Thus, entrepreneurs solve problem an bring social change.
It is a wonderful session in which I have learnt a number of points regarding to the module. Hopefully, it will be useful to utilize in future projects.

The topic is so interactive and educative, especially the inspiration, ideation, and implementation process.
In order to gain comprehensive insights into a problem and develop effective solutions, it is essential to employ a multifaceted approach that encompasses three crucial aspects: engaging in meaningful dialogue with diverse individuals, seeking guidance from subject matter experts, and comprehensively assessing the intricate dynamics of the prevailing circumstances. Each of these elements plays an integral role in achieving a holistic understanding, thus facilitating the creation of well-informed and innovative resolutions. By actively engaging with various stakeholders, including individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives, one can extract invaluable perspectives, identify potential blind spots, and foster a sense of collaboration. Simultaneously, consulting experts in the relevant field imparts specialized knowledge, enabling the incorporation of cutting-edge techniques and best practices. Lastly, meticulously analyzing the contextual factors surrounding the issue at hand, such as socio-economic, cultural, and environmental considerations, provides a comprehensive understanding of the underlying complexities and facilitates the formulation of tailored, contextually appropriate solutions. Together, these interconnected approaches empower problem solvers to address intricate challenges with a nuanced and effective problem-solving framework.

This module was well elaborated on what I should be concerned about when going into social entrepreneurship.

Human centered design has three phases,Inspiration,Ideation and implementation. I have learnt that every problem needs a tailor made solution not just a solution.
Global social entrepreneurship involves applying entrepreneurial strategies to create innovative, sustainable, and impactful solutions that address complex social and environmental challenges across the globe. It requires a combination of creativity, collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and a deep commitment to making a positive difference on a global level.
This framework is commonly used in design thinking, innovation management, and project development processes. It emphasizes the importance of thoroughly understanding the problem space (Inspiration), generating creative solutions (Ideation), and then effectively executing and bringing those solutions to life (Implementation). It encourages a systematic approach while allowing for flexibility and iteration at each phase to ensure that the final outcome meets the needs and goals of the project.
