M&E outside this course helps us in our daily lives to monitor progress and outcome of whatever we do eg going to churches us interact with others, going out or for parties enables others to socialize with others.

Another crucial component of M&E is data analysis because it gives data meaning and can transform data to support decision-making.

Traditional monitoring and evaluation (M&E) only focus on implementation side of the policy and project, but now the new approach is not only focus the implementation side, but also highlight the important effect of that policy or project on society or beneficiary. Using the information from M&E, the M&E team can check efficiency, effectiveness, and relevance of the project.
