Can someone use more than one sampling method in one data collection exercise? For instance, if you want detailed information from your participants on the subject you are investing while being sensitive to the geographical disparities of your sample frame, can you use both completely purposeful and clustered sampling at the same time?
Remember that purposively sampling is done for qualitative data that are not supposed to be used to generalize the findings to whole population whereas clustered sampling is more for quantitative data that can be generalized for the whole population. However, what you can do is to use a mixed method approach where you can collect both types of data.
